VariasVadias.com (Various Sluts) is an cyberhuman artistic research platform focused on the textuality of the body, the performativity of language, and the rhizomatic construction of subjectivity. We bring together discursive practices that challenge fixed and established identity categories, operating through a logic of multiplicity and semantic destabilization. By reclaiming the term “vadia” (slang portuguese expression for “slut”) we reclaim and transform a weapon of stigmatization into a critical device that exposes and reconfigures power regimes inscribed in gender, sexuality, and representation.
